Hotel MIN is a building in Antwerp (Belgium), designed by the architect Kris Mys.
In the building, people who just got out of prison, can stay there for a few months or one year, to prepare themselves to function in society again. Koen Theys was asked to propose an artwork for that building.
As there was no place for those people to smoke, he proposed a bus stop on the roof of the building.
So, now people can sit there, have a fantastic view over the city, smoke a cigaret and wait until they get picked up by society again.
